Utilizing a technique called Biosmocking™, the collection had an added dimensionality as seen in the various looks in the collection while offering greater customization and personalized pieces without the need for cutting or sewing. “As a whole, this collection is the result of a unique attempt to blend old and new technologies—to fuse primitive fashion techniques with the latest in biotechnology and digital fabrication,” according to show notes.
Finally, sustainability played another role within this season’s collection, ranging from the use of recycled silk, upcycled jewelry and environmentally conscious boots.
