Most people I know hate packing their suitcases. I actually do really like it. Why? Because packing is always connected to the thoughts of travelling and exploring new, amazing places or countries. And let’s be honest… there’s no better feeling in the world!
Of course, packing your suitcase always requires to limit your needs to a minimum. That is why I made you a little list of things that should definitely land in your suitcase.
A Pair of Gladiator Sandals
The ancient inspired foot wear is a must for fashionistas this summer. There’s hardly any summer outfit they don’t match with and therefore, they are the perfect shoe for your day at the beach or a night out.
A Stylish Hat
Hats have become a very popular accessory over the last couple of seasons. They offer perfect protection when strolling around the city or lying on the beach. Just remember: choose a hat that you can fold and store in your suitcase easily!
A Kimono
The perfect piece to cover your body in summer is definitely the kimono. Especially for those of you who don’t like to show their whole body on the beach — this is the perfect loophole. This season I prefer 70’s styles and fringes for my perfect boho outfit. My favorite pieces you will find here and here.[line]
Sunglasses
If I ever forgot my sunglasses on my holiday trip I think I would die instantly. Sunnies are a MUST for summer holidays (and the perfect way to hide dark circles under your eyes when you decide to go without make up). This season’s favorites: cat eye and round hippie shades.
A Playsuit
In case you wondered what I am talking about, playsuits basically are just like jumpsuits – just short. Toss your little white dresses this year and go for it! Why? Because it is way more comfortable, more effortless and definitely more on trend. I found some for you here and here.
Swimwear
Leave your sport shoes at home and grab your bikini – there’s no better workout than swimming! Plus it is extremely helpful against dorsal pain and cellulite as well. For the stylish girls among you: neoprene fabrics are super hot this summer!
Espadrilles
Especially since last season, espandrilles have been everywhere – even on the runway. Now that I wear them on a daily basis, I wonder how could I ever live without them? In my case my espadrilles collection is steadily growing and this summer I will take my new suede Kenzo espadrilles with me for sure!
Now that my suitcase is packed there’s nothing more to say than “Leave all your troubles at home, free your mind and enjoy your vacation!”[/x_text][/x_column][/x_row][/x_section]
