Up first was a collection from Tonsure that can be described as minimal and clean with a hint of darkness. With a backdrop of a digital New York City and the hectic hustle and bustle, the event was a combination runway and presentation — the best of both worlds.
Created by designer Malte Flagstad, the collection was inspired from 1980’s New York and is a blend of jersey, wools and contrasting leather. While muted and grayish in overall tone, the Tonsure AW18 collection had pops of seafoam green, orange and glossy textures for just the right amount of visual contrast to stand out amidst any urban setting.
