For Spring/Summer 2020, the WISHARAWISH collection themed Post-Wore Delicacies is “a story about the society that values freedom and respect for individuality, while at the same time concerning about the awareness of the connections of the effects that each person has to do with each other and to the environment. It represents liberty and freedom from all threats within a society.”
Created by Thai fashion designer Wisharawish Akarasanti, the collection was created in co-operation with 12 innovative, eco-friendly, Thai textile entrepreneurs (in addition to the 7 operators who have participated in Fall/Winter 2019 collection). Simplicity and meticulous attention to details are interwoven into a collection which centers around the beauty of the fabrics.
The result, a 32-look collection filled with relaxed tailoring and a fluid, genderless style. Beautiful prints, grounded in a neutral/natural color palette are accented with pops of blue and pink.
In the end, it was a beautiful collection which paid homage to the cultural artistry of Thailand with modern tailoring.
