For the Louis Gabriel Nouchi Fall/Winter 2019 collection shown on the runways of Paris Fashion Week Men’s, inspiration came from author Norman Mailer and his 1983 novel ‘Ancient Evenings’, which explores the journey of reincarnation in Ancient Egypt.
The result is a layered and textural collection that beautifully blends classic suits and workwear with just the right touch of fluidity and softness for today’s man, one confident in his masculinity. Filled with stars, prints such as leopard, tartan and skull, and metal talismans as edgy accessories, the collection comes across as rich and powerful with subtle pops of color.
