PFW Men’s: Feng Chen Wang FW23 Collection

“Connection” is the central theme of the Feng Chen Wang Fall/Winter 2023 collection unveiled at Paris Fashion Week Men’s. Connecting cultures, communities and also time — from the past and the present — we find a multitude of elements centered around the theme embedded in the latest collection filled with tradition-inspired pieces to modern streetwear.
Gender styles are blurred while Chinese techniques are combined with Western styles. We even find the incorporation of the Chinese Knot and the “Hundred Families Robe” tradition through the usage of surplus fabrics from past season to create patchwork pieces. The phoenix motif is also found in the latest collection in a quilted fabric and in a printed denim with rich, deep hues.
