The collection ranged from hand-painted elements, bold prints, a Dobby weave woven from a very fine yarn, vibrant colors blended with pleated techniques, to looks which alluded to the turning of a parasol. Overall, it was an event full of movement, flow and artistry, with pieces worthy of placement on a pedestal (literally), and evoking joy from the audience.
Specific highlights included the organically shaped oversized “paper” hats, the bold prints, the looks with vivid and vibrant color blocking with whimsical tiered headpieces, the moments on skateboards, and the parasol inspired head pieces which were simply works of art. In the end, it was a collection and show masterfully created and presented.
