“An elegant woman pushes the heavy glass door of a luxury boutique on Avenue Montaigne, and with a firm step treads on the thick brown-and-white Guy Laroche logo carpet. Madame C. embodies the famous director of the call girl agency that made all of Paris quake.
This collection is dedicated to these liberated girls and boys who for a few five hundred franc notes contributed to the splendour of France.” — Richard René for Guy Laroche
The Spring/Summer 2020 Collection:
For the latest Guy Laroche collection, it comes down to sleek, sophisticated and sexy with a retro nod. Created with a subdued color palette of brown, black and crisp white, pieces walked down the runway befitting the seasons ahead. And with many looks adorned with the brand’s logo and color blocking, there was no question in staying true to the brand’s essence of refined simplicity. For this editor, the revealing, yet strategic cutouts in several looks were sublime. And I can’t fail to mention the cohesiveness of the entire collection down to the accessories which completed every look to perfection.
