Discover the fusion of technology, humanity and fashion at the Coperni Fall/Winter 2023 runway show unveiled at Paris Fashion Week. The theme of wolf and lamb, from the fable by 17th century author Jean de la Fontaine, is reinterpreted for 2023 by Coperni. The wolf takes the form of technology while the lamb is represented by humans.
The result is a collection which takes further inspiration from elements from Little Red Riding Hood — from enveloping capes to handcrafted metal bags inspired by the fable’s basket. Origami shapes in the bags and shoes tie in to nature and the forest. Emoji’s also serve as a motif woven into the collection as accessories representing its prevalent use within technology today.
Also incorporated into the event were the Spot® robots from American company Boston Dynamics to represent the wolf in the fable inspiration. Designers Sébastien Meyer and Arnaud Vaillant never fail to impress with their forward-thinking fashion infused with technological innovation, creating a harmonious blend of the two.
