This legendary designer has evolved with the ever changing times and trends to continually deliver breathtaking pieces each season on the runways of New York Fashion Week. Spring/Summer 2020 was no exception.
With inspiration taken from his native Japan and the iconic kimono, Shoji created a collection which was simply stunning and definitely created with a Japanese styling twist. From the little touches like the shoulders, the wrap technique in the fabric and the beautiful prints, to the hair styling, there was a respectful nod to his native Japan, but with not one ounce of a “costume” effect which you would expect from a master designer.
