From towering and gleaming temples, colorful and lively floating markets, beautiful silk brocades and old-world elegance, inspiration also came from the symbolic draping of fabrics worn by the monks around their bodies. So for New York Fashion Week, folds and pleating techniques are the star in combination with the unique color palette of South East Asia — all from the master of the evening gown and glamour.
