NYFW: Dennis Basso FW23, a 40th Anniversary Celebration

We were thrilled to witness first hand the Dennis Basso Fall/Winter 2023 runway show at New York Fashion Week. This runway event marked a 40th anniversary for the legendary designer who has dressed the stars throughout the decades and the opening film presented at the start of the event was a testament to his accomplishments.
For this 40th anniversary event, Basso unveiled a 45-look collection which included lavish furs, luxury daywear, cocktail dresses and exquisite gowns ranging in a color palette of black, brown, grey, metallics and accented with sapphire and emerald hues.
The opening looks were two models wearing matching Russian sable coats with hoods, recreating a scene from his first runway show in 1983. The final look, a golden duchess satin gown with matching evening coat, was shown off by super model Beverly Johnson. It was a beautiful celebration to witness.
