New York Men’s Day (NYMD) returned to New York Fashion Week with an exciting roster of returning and new brands showcasing their Spring/Summer 2023 menswear (and gender less/fluid) collections. Broken up into two parts, the morning presentation showcased returning brands A.Potts, Amirok, Atelier Cillian, Teddy Vonranson and first time brands Nobis and Terry Singh. During the afternoon presentations, returning brands Nicholas Raefski and Fried Rice were joined by first timers Nobis, Todd Patrick, SO.TY and Holo Market.
Since the disappearance of NYFW Men’s, NYMD has been the only U.S. platform for emerging menswear designers to get exposure to a broader audience during one fashion-focussed event with the eyes of the world upon it. From modern streetwear, contemporary styles with vintage and retro touches, to reimagined evening looks and genderless/fluid creations that push today’s men to expand their way of dress, NYMD is a one-stop shop to get a glimpse into the future of menswear.

And for this season, sponsor Canadian-based Nobis showed “see now, buy now” pieces as well as next season’s outerwear looks. Sperry also returned to sponsor the event to showcase it’s new and colorful Cloud collection titled “Paradiso.”
Be on the lookout for these brands as you never know if and when they may show up on the official NYFW calendar, making room for new brands to join the NYMD roster.
