MFW Men’s: K-Way FW23 “R&D” Collection

The setting for the K-Way Fall/Winter 2023 event at Milan Fashion Week Men’s was reminiscent of a Parisian street corner nearly 58 years ago.
For this event, the audience was transported to a drizzly day in 1965 when Léon-Claude Duhamel invented the original packable rain jacket as he watched passers-by at Place de l’Opéra and noticed a mother as she rushed past with two children in red nylon jackets. The rest is history and closing out day two of Milan Fashion Week, the K-Way “R&D” collection was unveiled.
We discover cutting-edge materials and technical innovation created from natural fabrics to emphasize the sustainability focus, while the color palette, reflective of the original café décor from the 60’s includes cream and green of the chairs, the blue of the furnishings, along with the K-Way signature orange and timeless black.
