[/x_text][/x_column][x_column bg_color=”” type=”3/4″ style=”padding: 0px 0px 0px 0px; “][x_text]During Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Istanbul held in October 2020, designer Mert Erkan unveiled an 18-look FW21 women’s collection at the Tophane-i Amire Culture and Art Center.

Titled “Reconciliation”, the collection was filled with a neutral color palette with pops of purple, contrasting silhouettes of volume and structure, and the introduction of knitwear. Details of note included flowy ruffles, sheer and seductive fabric contrasted with knitwear, and handmade accessories to complete the looks. Two looks which caught this editor’s eye are the turtle-neck top/tulle skirt with white pants for the daring contrasts and the all-black-look with beautiful textured crop top and flowing gown.

Celebrities of note who walked the runway show included Miss Turkey 2018 winner Sevval Sahin, Best Model of Turkey 2019 winner Derya Eksioglu and Itır Esen.
