For this season, the 20 piece collection consists of a new caped dress, a dress set within a “cage” of jewels and dresses in two pieces for added flexibility in wear and usage — according to show notes. Texture abounds in this couture collection with pops of animal prints for added visual texture.
Fabrics come from the finest mills in Italy and Switzerland and couture pieces are produced in Parisian ateliers — all part of the de Libran brand and high standards. In the end, “what I am aiming for,” says de Libran, “is a kind of timelessness that makes each dress an instant heirloom and frees it from the wasteful turnover of seasonal collections. The creation of unique pieces made according to the highest standards in a more mindful way is the direction I believe fashion should be taking.”
