One season, he closed out the show with super model Paulina Porizkova looking statuesque in a golden evening gown. With that said, I was looking forward to seeing his Autumn/Winter 2020 collection for this eason of London Fashion Week. Set in the intimately grand 11 Carlton Terrace, I had a chance to experience the latest collection up close and personal. This season did not disappoint.
In a beautiful color palette of pink hues, cream and green grounded in black, along with delicate prints which closed out the collection, the Eden | Eden collection was the designer’s attempt to recreate the garden’s beauty. Filled with embroidery, hand-stitching and mixed with modern-day technology, the collection is simply sublime.
And when I thought that the incredible collection and event couldn’t get any better, Kalfar closed out the catwalk full of joy, energy and even a dance of celebration. Bravo to Kalfar. If this is today’s Eden, then I want to be a part of it.
