VRAI. Tell us about a holiday tradition that you celebrate today.
Roberta: My kids look forward to Christmas Eve dinner every year. They help me select and cook everything. We read “The Night Before Christmas” and play charades.
VRAI: Is there a holiday dish that family and friends always request from you?
Roberta: Tres Leches Cake. It’s always great with a cup of coffee or on its own.
VRAI: Tell us about a dish that someone else (family member or friend) makes for the holidays that you love.
Roberta: My mother-in-law makes a delicious ham every year on Christmas.
VRAI: Best advice you can give someone when it comes to holiday cooking/baking/entertaining.
Roberta: Make it easy on yourself and use paper/plastic flatware. There’s nothing worse than having a good dinner with guests and having to wash a pile of dishes afterwards. Also, prep what you can days before. This will make your day more enjoyable.
