Fashion Week is no exception with the plethora of digital events being showcased in lieu of physical shows at Milan Fashion Week. But for designer Francesca Liberatore, her SS21 collection was presented in a physical show format to allow for a live auction conducted by auction house Cambi Aste.
The clothing from the Liberatore SS21 collection would be auctioned off and the proceeds would be donated to NPO Golfini Rossi and its Healthcare in Mvimwa, Tanzania project.
What unfolded during the September 25th event was a runway filled with bold, graphic prints used in a range of silhouettes from body-hugging pieces, to flowing dresses, and a modern wedding ensemble. The collection was accessorized with black “signature” face-masks and mobile phone belt carriers.
Liberatore continues to balance her success with humanitarian efforts around the globe and for that, we applaud her.
