We started following this talented designer when she was showing at New York Fashion Week several seasons ago and as she has now transitioned to MFW, we’re thrilled with her continued success.
For this season, inspiration came from a film by Todd Phillips. Set within the great salon of the Odeon Cinema Milano, the protagonist enters the scene undergoing three phases of mutation through an evolution of dressing, according to show notes.
Fabrics used in the collection include wool, lurex and coated velvets with a color palette of earth tones like beige, brown and green to rich blue, crimson and peacock – all coming together to create a beautifully tailored 70’s vibe with elements such as high-waisted silhouettes and flared trousers.
