It’s also a signal for us to think of travel opportunities and new explorations. And RENFE SNCF understands our desires very well by making it easy to travel.
That’s why with Spring, some great escapades unfold before us in the cities of Carcassonne and Toulouse. From the 31st of March and the next six months, these beautiful French destinations are available to us via RENFE SNCF.
During a presentation in one of the most amazing buildings in Barcelona, CASA VICENS, this architectectual jewel built by Antonio Gaudí, was the setting for our introduction to these two French destinations.

Carcassonne
First up, Carcassonne, a medieval city within a two hour and 25 minute train ride aboard RENFE SNCF from Barcelona. Sights at this iconic city include scenic landscapes, the Canal du Midi, gastronomy, festivals and so much more.
Toulouse
As for the city of Toulouse, there’s the Musee Aeropostale, Le Halle de la Machine (did someone say Minotaur?) and breathtaking architecture. And we can’t forget to mention rugby.
Whichever city you choose to explore, there’s so much to discover during the Spring and Summer seasons ahead. Be sure to keep these two cities in mind as additional destinations to explore aboard RENFE SNCF while already in France or Spain.[/x_text][/x_column][/x_row][/x_section]
