Set on the last day of Paris Fashion Week at the Grand Palais, the exquisite Chanel Fall/Winter 2020 collection was presented amidst an organically shaped, white setting which harkened to snowdrifts and a runway of reflective, silvery ice.
Predominantly created in a black and white color palette with pops of burgundy tones, refined, textured fabrics were used throughout the collection and exuded the Chanel signature style. But this season, swashbuckling pirate undertones as seen through ruffled shirts, billowy sleeves, the two-toned boot, and long flowy outerwear were evident with a touch of the richness and history of the papacy as seen through the jeweled accessories and cross motif used throughout the collection.
