The collection is an evolution of the CELINE wardrobe with new proportions, the utilization of smooth velvet as the foundation of the collection, and a versatility with the unisex nature of all the looks, according to show notes.
Both female and male models walked the runway with confidence while wearing Reptile from the CELINE Haute Parfumerie collection. Also to note, men wore silk blouses for an added romanticism and softness, again, reinforcing the unisex nature of the collection. For a color palette, it was more muted and filled with earthy, seasonal colors and accented with plum and purple. There was an overall retro vibe which added a more relaxed undertone to the collection.
Also created for this season is the CELINE CESAR Compression Project in which a numbered and limited edition of 100 Vermeil and 100 silver pieces were created as jewelry accessories showcased on several looks. Also new this season is the reintroduction of CELINE SULKY in the form of bags, jewels and belt accessories, all with a nod to the 1960s and Richard Vipiana, husband of Celine, and his passion for horseracing.
Celebrities filled the front row, including Miles Teller, Asa Butterfield, Isabelle Huppert and Carla Bruni
