Discover the sculptural beauty of the Reverie by Caroline Hú SS25 – Spring/Summer 2025 – collection unveiled at Paris Fashion Week on the evening of September 25, 2024.
Hú takes inspiration from the concepts of love and death and the connections each has with family, friends and the people in the world around us. The result is a collection filled with vibrant hues, oversized bows, and striking silhouettes created with boning and wire, evoking for this Editor, the beauty and symbolism of flowers in various stages of life — from one in full bloom, to one withered and dying.
Hú’s latest collection is pure artistry — a beautiful story of love and death through sculptural floral creations on the runways of Paris Fashion Week.
Details of note include the use of silk taffeta, technical fabrics used in sports/performance gear made to look like taffeta, printed silk organza, fine stretch jersey and hand knitted tops. Hú continued her partnership with French lace company, Sophie Hallette to create tulle lace appliqués and continued her collaboration with Adidas Originals.
Presented at the Palais de Tokyo, the intimate runway event also included a live performance by dancers Emma Portner and Léo Handtschoewercker.
