Discover the Anrealage SS25 – Spring/Summer 2025 – “Wind” collection which continues on Kunihiko Morinaga’s focus on fashion and technology, unveiled at Paris Fashion Week in September 2024.
For the SS25 collection, Morinaga explored the art of dressing (and undressing) with the help of wind to breathe life into clothing and creating new silhouettes.
The resulting “cool-wear” collection, which addresses the the oppressive heat during summers in Japan, was created in collaboration with KUCHOFUKU, a Japanese pioneer in fan-equipped, air conditioned utilitarian garments, resulting in the creation of airtight materials made from the thinnest of nylon fabrics.
The playful and whimsical collection also includes specific looks produced using Kyocera’s FOREARTH sustainable inkjet printing technology.
Unveiled within the club-like space of the YOYO at Palais de Tokyo, each look evoked wonder and amazement from the transformations once air was infused. Insect-like shapes and butterfly silhouettes paraded around the space — a collection like no other and one that stood out in this Editor’s mind for the season.
