Jump forward to his Autumn/Winter 2020 collection at this season’s London Fashion Week (LFW) and he continues to evolve and impress. Rich, deep jewel tones in monochromatic looks paraded down the catwalk on a collection that was shown on Day 1 of LFW.
Each look was distinctive with varied details, cuts and techniques, yet beautifully cohesive when viewed as one memorable collection. Ruching, pleats and folds in organic waves were sprinkled throughout the collection, creating looks which started the show with powerful structure and then evolved to more of a fusion with structure and organic shapes as more models walked the catwalk. Towards the end, grand architectural designs that flowed and were filled with organic curves, closed out the collection with true Malone drama.
