She used PVC (vinyl) in combination with soft materials like neoprene and mesh fabrics to create avant-garde femininity in a predominantly black and white collection. PVC tends to be hard or have too much of a street wear feel, but she was able to transform the material in a way to dress women and allow them to feel feminine. A PVC jacket had a gentle, rounded shoulder to enhance the femininity, while a PVC skirt was mixed with a soft garment to create volume and flow. I can’t wait to see more from this talented designer.
