Iridescent Essence: Son Jung Wan SS25 at New York Fashion Week

For day two of New York Fashion Week we were excited to reunite with Korean designer Son Jung Wan and cover the event from backstage to the runways as she presented the Son Jung Wan SS25 – Spring/Summer 2025 – collection.
While openings looks ranged from vivid teal and fuchsia, the color palette eventually softened to gold, lilac and blush, culminating in white finale looks. The thread throughout the latest collection is the use of iridescent fabrics with rounded-drop shoulders, geometric details and florals used in prints or as stunning embellishments.
VIPs in the audience for this season included actress Brooke Shields and Kelly Bensimon from RHONY.
