The Powerful Art of Restraint: Loewe Men’s SS25 at Paris Fashion Week Men’s
Day five of Paris Fashion Week Men’s gave us a look into the artistry of the Loewe Men’s SS25 “A Radical Act of Restraint” collection. We’re excited to share backstage details and first looks to all the celebrities who sat in the front row.
Presented at the La Garde Républicaine, Paris, the men’s collection centered around a group of objects created by preeminent artists of the 20th century from Susan Sontag, Peter Hujar, Charles Rennie Mackintosh, Carlo Scarpa and Paul Thek.
The resulting parade of menswear looks ranged from sleek silhouettes to sensually pleated trousers, voluminous knitwear pant/skirts and exaggerated jacket sleeves. Headband feathers and exaggerated belting are key accents/accessories in addition to the bags and shoes unveiled for the season.
Also of note in the SS25 collection are the striking and shimmery sleeveless vests that echo sexy gladiator vibes.
Celebrities in attendance included Richard Gadd of “Baby Reindeer” fame, Kit Connor, Leo Woodall, Luke Newton of “Bridgerton” and singer Sabrina Carpenter.
