Legendary Fashion Designer, Yumi Katsura Has Died at the Age of 94

Yumi Katsura, legendary Japanese fashion designer who helped make Western bridal gowns popular in Japan, has died at the age of 94 on April 26, 2024.
Some of her accomplishments included studying haute couture in Paris at Les Ecoles de la Chambre Syndicale de La Couture Parisienne, holding the first bridal fashion show in Japan and designing a vestment for Pope John Paul II. Read more about her accomplishments here.
