Designer Andrew Kwon made his New York Fashion Week debut with his Spring/Summer 2023 evening wear collection. Presented with a mixture of models and mannequins in the elegant setting of the Baccarat Hotel, Kwon unveiled a breathtaking collection inspired by a red carpet moment and a CHANEL No. 5 commercial featuring actress Nicole Kidman. Of note are glamorous details from yesteryear incorporated into modern styling.
After seeing this debut collection, this editor has only one request — the next Andrew Kwon collection at NYFW had better be a full runway show to give every look its own runway moment. Is it February yet?
