Presented by Paramount Consumer Products, the event showcased two collections inspired by the film — a women’s collection by Sania Daniel of The House of Nubian and a men’s collection by Kwame Koranteng of Kwame Koranteng Design.
The event also put a spotlight on black-owned health and beauty brands launching their own Coming to America-inspired collections, including GoodMela, a cosmetics company advocating for inclusive and ethical beauty, and Goodman Factory, a British male beauty brand which supports male mental health.
Discover the looks from each fashion collection below and hear directly from designer Sania Daniel in our backstage interview conducted by Fashion Editor Chiyoko Takada.
